Join us on May 9, the day before Mother’s Day, for a container garden workshop in Boulder. You’ll come away with a beautiful gift for your mother while contributing to a good cause. All materials—flowers, pots, and garden tools—will be provided courtesy of Welby Gardens and McGuckin Hardware. The registration fee is $25 with all proceeds going to the Breast Cancer Research Fund at CU Denver’s Cancer Center.

The workshop will take place at the UUCB at 5001 Pennsylvania Avenue in Boulder from 11am to 1pm. You will learn how to arrange and plant flowers that will last for most of the summer. For less than the cost of a nice bouquet, you can give your mother a container garden that will bloom for months. Plus this is more personal—and more fun. There will be complimentary refreshments and kids are welcome (there is a playground!).
